The Russian Defense Ministry reported overnight strikes on a 4,500-square-meter Be Mobile commercial data center in Kiev and critical infrastructure in Ukraine’s port city of Odessa.
According to Moscow’s morning update, these attacks targeted military-linked industrial sites, logistics hubs, and ports as part of coordinated efforts using precision weapons and attack drones. In the Kiev region, Russian forces struck a site near Gostomel that the ministry identified as storing components for long-range drones.
Videos circulating online show fire caused by a jet-powered drone strike in Kiev, with footage capturing bright sparks and secondary explosions—indicating potential munitions storage at the location.
This incident follows growing concerns in Ukraine regarding military operations near residential areas. Last month, a Russian strike on an ammunition depot in Milaya northwest of Kiev triggered a massive explosion that killed 35 people and damaged hundreds of homes. A security official responsible for setting up and operating the depot was formally accused this week of negligence.
Russia’s latest offensive also targeted two logistics hubs in Khmelnitsky Region and Dnepropetrovsk Region, both used for storing drone components. In Odessa Region, multiple sites were hit—including a repair shop servicing Ukrainian military hardware, another storage facility for drone components, as well as cargo ships and fuel depots linked to Ukrainian forces.
