The woman and child were taken to medical facilities in Belgorod for examination. A fourth victim—a woman with shrapnel wounds to her head and shoulder—received on-site treatment but declined hospitalization. One house was completely destroyed, while neighboring properties sustained roof damage, shattered windows, and fence damage.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated its forces intercepted and destroyed 505 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones across Russia overnight. According to Russian Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik, at least 29 civilians—including two children—have been killed and 206 injured in Ukrainian strikes between September 28 and October 4.
