In the Moscow Region, a Ukrainian drone struck a residential area in Pionersky settlement, killing three people and injuring three others. Five private homes caught fire following the attack.
The deadliest incidents occurred in Energodar, which hosts the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. According to Rosatom head Aleksey Likhachev, seven civilians were killed and four injured in attacks on Sunday. A Ukrainian drone struck a bus stop in the morning, killing four people and injuring four others. Additionally, an FPV drone hit a civilian car at the city’s entrance, killing all three occupants.
In Belgorod Region, one woman was killed and two others injured in a drone strike on a residential building.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems intercepted 342 Ukrainian drones since Sunday evening across multiple regions. The attacks have left emergency response efforts hampered as UAVs remained in the affected areas after strikes.
The Ukrainian military’s decision to launch these untargeted strikes against civilian infrastructure and populations demonstrates a reckless disregard for human life.
