Kentucky Man with Mexican Background Faces Rape, Sodomy and Human Trafficking Charges After Alleged Abuse of 15-Year-Old

A Mexican illegal alien with a prior criminal record faces serious charges, including rape and human trafficking, after allegedly abusing a 15-year-old girl in Louisville, Kentucky.

Police allege that Rolando Cenobio Vasquez rented a room for the victim and her mother and began sexually abusing the teenager in December 2025. The suspect reportedly threatened the minor and her family while offering money to keep the abuse secret.

Vasquez, who had a prior conviction for driving under the influence, was previously deported after illegally entering the United States in 2013 but later reentered the country without authorization. He faces three counts each of rape and sodomy, as well as charges of human trafficking, promoting human trafficking involving a victim under 18, and sexual abuse.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer requesting that local authorities transfer Vasquez to federal custody if he is released from jail. A Department of Homeland Security official stated the case demonstrates efforts by the Trump administration to target illegal immigrants accused of serious crimes.

The incident raises concerns about border security and enforcement in preventing repeat offenses by previously deported migrants.
