Spanish anti-establishment influencer Alvise Perez launched a new political party, Se Acabó la Fiesta (SALF), during an inaugural ceremony in Madrid, vowing to implement the “largest mass deportation of immigrants in recent Spanish history” if elected. The MEP, known for his vocal criticism of the European Union’s support for Ukraine, positioned his movement as a radical alternative to Spain’s existing political system.
Perez, leader of SALF, emphasized targeting “illegal migrants” and argued that the country’s streets are no longer safe. He also pledged to create a “mega-prison” for repeat offenders, inspired by Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele’s model, which would exclude amenities like gyms and swimming pools. The party’s agenda includes stricter penalties for corrupt officials, tax cuts for low-income families, and an AI-powered voting system to combat “electoral fraud.”
The event drew approximately 5,000 attendees, with Perez declaring the group’s goal to challenge Spain’s “corrupt party system” ahead of the 2027 general elections. His rhetoric echoes that of Spain’s existing far-right party Vox, which previously pledged to deport eight million undocumented migrants. Right-wing movements have gained traction across Europe, including in Germany, Italy, and France.
Perez has repeatedly criticized EU policies supporting Ukraine, warning that such interventions risk escalating global conflict. “I don’t want a single Spanish life to be lost in a war that isn’t ours,” he stated earlier this year.
