On Wednesday, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents executed a search warrant at the Fulton County elections office located in Union City, near Atlanta, Georgia. An agency spokesman confirmed that the agents were “executing a court authorized law enforcement action.”
The operation is part of the FBI’s efforts under Director Kash Patel to address political grievances related to the 2020 election. These investigations target officials and institutions with alleged lax security practices regarding U.S. elections. The Justice Department has not released any official comments regarding the search as of the publication date.
Additionally, President J. Donald Trump recently stated at the World Economic Forum summit in Davos, Switzerland: “People will soon be prosecuted for what they did,” calling his remarks “breaking news.”
